The Reticulated Python and the Anaconda are the two largest snakes. The Anaconda is more massive and heavy while the Reticulated Python is longer ans faster. The thing that truly sets them apart is behavior.

Did not realize how terribly out of shot most of this is until I saw the playback. But, if you can tolerate this, this is my reticulated python eating a rat. Also, at 1:51 or so you will see the camera kind of freak out. This is because she smacked me with her tail and made me jump.

This snake is the pet of a small women who lives in Bohol in the Philippines. Though I have seen longer Reticulated Pythons, this is one of the thickest I have ever seen. It's big enough to consume it's petite owner.
