Both Aldabra and Galapagos Tortoises can be seen in the Zoo's Reptile and Amphibian House.
It is very difficult to tell them apart. But, if you look closely at the mid portion of the shell, just above the tortoises' heads, you can see the nuchal scute on the shells of the Aldabra tortoises.

Tommy T, our cheetah cub and Pow Wow, our anatolian shepard puppy are introduced for the first time. These two adorable animals will spend their lives as ambassador animals in the zoo's Cat Ambassador program.
One of the meerkats in the Zoo's Small Mammal House tries to sneak into the aardvarks' den while they are still sleeping, then comes bolting out. (The aardvarks don't want intruders in their bedroom!)
