This horse came to the Fischer Equine Lameness Foundation with navicular syndrome. After successful treatment at the foundation clinic, the horse is now sound and shown in hunter pleasure, western pleasure and games. to see this horse's case study, please go to his case study at http://www.healtheho of.com/case3.html
Rocket appears to still be in a bit of pain, and is being send to UVI for further evaluation. It has been about a month with his navicular disease acting up like this (if you don't know what navicular means, message me). Normally, he would heal in about a week. He is taking a long time now, and we don't know why. I am still crossing my fingers, though.
Both Foxy and Conto are ex-navicular horses who are now sound but barefoot. This video shows them in action over all the same terrain other horses are shod for.

A 6 year old guilding was given to us on Oct 25 2008, because he was said to have navicular in his right front foot. We are going to see if we can rehab him and give him a good life. Watch as the story unfolds, will it be heartbreak or victory?
Me and my pony Bentley, we're not great but we're not disgraceful. (I hope!)
He's fifteen, stubborn, and has navicular in both his front feet. He wears special shoes, bell boots, is on meds and daily supplements, adequon, and is in the prime of his life.
I love him to death.

Beau is a 9 yr old QH gelding who is at the Nexus Center for hoof rehab due to navicular syndrome. I like to build a little rapport with a horse before we start trimming. This helps us all have an enjoyable experience! Plus, I can assess how the horse is moving. I found Beau to be very sensitive, willing and a generally good guy.
